Once you have created the dll, its time to register the dll into MS CE using registration tool. Registration tool can be be located in the following path:
<Plugin>\packages\Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PluginRegistrationTool.9.1.0.1\tools
Step 1:
Run registration tool > Click new connection > Enter Credentials
If you know the region of your CE, select it otherwise just select Don’t Know.
Step 2:
Click register to register the dll > Register New Assembly
Step 3:
Browse to plugin dll > keep setting steps as default > Register plugin
In some cases register button is not visible. In this case you have to tap, tab for 6 times.
Step 4:
Select the register assembly > Register new step > Refer Screenshot
With this we have registered the step. Validate the plugin and registered step by triggering the event.
