On-Demand workflow allows you to process logical operation on a particular record instead of on every single record. These workflows are independent of the event triggers like create, update or delete of the record.
Step 1:
Settings > Processes > Click New > Add details > Click OK

Step 2:
Check “As an on demand process” and Uncheck any other trigger in “Start When”

Step 3:
Add steps > Select create record

Step 4:
Add Description > Select Task in create

Here you can see a error sign. This is because we haven’t set the required fields to create Task.
Step 5:
Click Set properties > Add details

Step 6:
Add dynamic Subject value for Task.
In the right panel, look up for entity and fields > Click add > Select Subject > click Ok to add dynamic value

Step 7:
Add start date and time

Step 8:
Click Save add close > Save Process > Activate Process


Step 9:
Create new lead > Find and Click Run Workflow > Find the workflow > Select the workflow > Click add > Click OK

Validate on demand workflow process
